Free Beer?

The CBC has notes and an interview with Dane Rasmus Nielson, one of the creators of Vores Ol, the first "open source" beer:

CBC writes: "...when you hear the words 'open source', most people think of computer software programs like Linex...It's a model where the original "source code" can be modified and improved at no cost...and it's shared among users for free. In other words, anyone can take the Vores Ol beer recipe, brew it, and sell it for profit as long as they publish their version of the recipe. Anyone is free to use Vores Ol's design and branding elements too.
